The United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNISDR) recently announced next round of online dialogues on disaster risk reduction. The announcement, which can be found on UNISDR’s Prevention, stated the following:
“UNISDR is pleased to announce the next round of online dialogues for the post-2015 framework for disaster risk reduction. This dialogue focuses on the ‘critical issues and priorities needed to address urban risks and local governance for disaster resilience.’
UNISDR is interested in your views on the future of disaster risk reduction and encourage you to participate in the process. The results of the online dialogues will help provide the substance for a post-2015 framework for disaster risk reduction to be adopted at the World Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction in 2015.
This dialogue will be professionally facilitated and supports multiple language comments with the help of Google Translate. UNISDR has invited Ms. Bernadia Irawati Tjandradewi from City-Net to facilitate this dialogue.”
The online dialogue is now open and will run until Friday 05 April 2013.
