The United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNISDR) will open its first round of online dialogues beginning Monday August 27 through to November 30, 2012. The dialogues are designed to be the first round of online consultations arranged by the UNISDR before the World Conference on Disaster Reduction scheduled to be held in Japan in 2015.

The announcement on the UNISDR website says: “We are interested in your views on the future of the post-2015 framework for disaster risk reduction and encourage you to participate in the process. The results of the online dialogues will help provide the substance for a post-2015 framework for disaster risk reduction. The dialogues will be professionally facilitated.”
