On January 30 Secretary of Homeland Security, Janet Napolitano, delivered her second State of Homeland Security address. The Secretary noted that, "We have come a long way over the past year, and over the past ten years since 9/11. We have learned a great deal about how to better secure our country, but we remain aware of how a successful terrorist attack or natural disaster can inflict economic damage beyond its human toll."
